Why Creatiques?

As a longstanding retailer in the bridal industry, you know you are in good hands at Creatiques

Being founded over 30 years ago, “ the boys” know how to look after and give our brides the confidence they need when purchasing “ that gown:”. Having dressed 1000’s of brides over the years the ’boys’ ‘ know how to dress women.

Every gown within the boutique has been hand selected from all of our designers, we like to combine fresh, modern, classic and also avant garde gowns within our inclusive collection.

We are an integral part of the RBA bridal wear ASSOCIATION, which means that you are buying from the highest standards of stock, decor and service so that the Bride and Groom can indeed ‘Buy with Confidence’.

● RBA members have their premises and trading performance regularly monitored.
● RBA members’ insurance policies cover gowns in storage prior to the wedding day.
● And RBA members are the only bridal shops to offer the RBA Brides’ Assurance Scheme (BAS)

We only Working with our designers who supply us with their gowns, we will ensure you feel looked after throughout your journey with us and answer any questions you may have during your time with us.

Can I book an appointment to try on dresses?

WE are appointment only. We offer an online booking system where you can choose times and days for your appointment, remember that weekend appointments get booked up ahead of time, so weekdays may be better for you. Wedding dress shopping can be tiring, so plan ahead with your booking.Take a look at our website and email us with any questions and a selection of gowns you may want to try on, bearing in mind new dresses arrive all the time.

How long will my appointment be?

On Saturdays the appointments are 90 minutes for your first appointment and 60 minutes for your second appointment. During the week we may be able to offer longer times.

How many people can I bring with me?

We suggest that you do not bring too many guests for your initial appointment, it can be very daunting for your first appointment so bring with you only guests who are going t o support you and make you confident.

What dresses do you think will best suit me?

This is o ver to the team at Creatiques, we discuss with you everything about your wedding and we hand choose for you gowns that we think will be amazing for your​ wedding, a choice of gowns can also be chosen prior to your appointment via our website

How customisable are your dresses?

We have an amazing collection of designers, many have huge colour options and also fabric choices, adding sleeves, longer trains, adding edging laces, straps drop shoulders and also jackets. Maggie sottero has a full collection of customisation within our store Imagine this: You’re newly engaged, you’ve taken our Style Quiz to find the type of gown for you, and you’ve found your dream dress at one of our Authorised Retailers (congrats!). However, as much as you absolutely love your dress, you wish you could make it a little bit more “you.” Well, you’re in luck! At Maggie Sottero we have practically customised wedding dresses for you to choose from from sizes 0-28.From sleeve variations t o detachable trains to changeable skirt layers, we have everything you need to personalise your wedding dress for y our love story! Keep reading to learn how to make the perfect gown, even more perfect for you.

How much is the deposit and when will I pay in full?

We will take a 50% of the total price as a deposit, this will secure your gown from our designer , we can also off er a payment plan which can be discussed at your appointment. The balance is taken when your gown arrives in the boutique

What is the lead time on your dresses?

Dresses now are taking longer than normal with this in mind, some gowns are taking up to 9 months to arrive, most designers we stock have web portals that show us the availability of gowns that you choose, but remember, if there is ONE gown in your size on our portals that means that is the only one available in your time scale. Most gowns take 6 months t o arrive from ordering.

How many fittings will I have and when will they be?

When the gown arrives a collection email will be sent t o you, it's a very exciting time as your gown is now in the boutique ready for y our wedding. We will make a collection appointment for you, alongside this we will then pre book y our fittings with our in house seamstress for Thursday only.

What do I need to bring to my fittings?

Shoes, and if you are wearing any type of under wear then we would advise this also.

Do you do alterations and how much will they cost?

Each dress is customised to your figure so with this in mind when ordering y our gown we will talk about approximate costs , you will also receive a detailed price list from our seamstress in your order pack. Each time you see our seamstress she will take all your measurements.

What if my weight changes?

We look at our size charts against your measurements, then explain what will happen if your weight changes. This is of course very personal and we are here to assist you where we can. If you are planning on a “big” weight loss then we can talk about what size of gown would be best for you on ordering.

Will the dress be steamed when I pick it up or when it ’s delivered?

We offer a streaming service for OUR GOWNS ONLY. Your gown is steamed prior to your collection appointment, then after your seamstress work we can arrange a steaming appointment close to your wedding date, normally 2 days prior to your wedding day.
